Today is the 45th anniversary of the Baf (Paphos) Resistance

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Today is the 45th anniversary of the Baf (Paphos) Resistance

Today is the 45th anniversary of the Baf Resistance.
The Resistance put up by the Turkish Cypriot people of Baf on the western most point of the island against attacking Greek Cypriots 45 years ago today and the martyrs who fell during the resistance were remembered this morning.

The ceremony was held at the Martyrs’ Monument in Guzelyurt(Omorfo/Morphou), where most Turkish Cypriots from Baf, or Paphos, now live.

This is actually the basic issue in Cyprus problem. GCs killed TCs to make the island Greek. There is a trust issue. GCs will try exactly the same if they are given the opportunity unless there are safeguards.

gcs defended themselvs after turks came to the island killing gcs in the thousands for no reason other then wanting to invade the island. decades later and nothing has changed, turks still invading killing and raping for their own gains, then a few of you die and you cry that your the victims of a war you started in the first place

In another topic about the 22 Greek Cypriots murdered by Turkish Cypriots and found in a mass grave I wrote:

Where is Halil to make 22 separate posts for the funerals of those people and then for their memorial every year, just to remind everybody how bad the Turks are? Oh,I almost forgot. He only wants to say how bad the GCs are. The Turks killed many 10000s of GCs and they lost only some 100s of their own. And non of these would have happened if the Turks had not came to our island!

Check your history. Turks attacked Cyprus to make Cyprus Turkish and started to kill 1000s of Cypriots. We were living in Cyprus for 1000s of years before the Turks attacked us.

GCs broke the partnership by excluding TCs and undermining their rights and killed them and now they bark because Turkey intervened and prevented achieving their bloody dreams come true. Did you really expect Turkey would let TCs get exterminated? Now that you know what kind of an answer you will get, you won't run after impossible dreams.

Was there a partnership that said Turkey could Napalm the GCs in efforts to steal half the island from them?

runaway, the only ones who were into the genocide/extermination "job" were the Turks. They killed 1000s and 10s of thousands of innocent Greek Cypriots since the time they first invaded our island.

Any TCs that were lost, not more than some 100s, a number way smaller than the GC casualties, was a during a conflict that the TCs started when they collaborated with the Colonialists, with the aim to deny to the Cypriot people their freedom and self-determination.
