Politis writes today about the eye witness accounts of 4 tc's (2 in Kyrenia and 2 in Nicosia) who know what happened to the 17 people slaughtered at St Hillarion. They know who did it and some of these cross over to the south frequently. Should we close our eyes to all this? Should we close our eyes to the fact that 100's of tourists take pictures of the castle every day and underneath their feet lie buried 17 GC's in the bottom of a well?
THis isn't the way, the saga that the only evil committed against the GC's was the peace operation of 74 by Turkey and that all intercommunal fighting was done by EOKA B elements while the poor tc's were somply defending themselves must be brought out to the open. And you and the govt can brush this under the carpet all you like but the families of Sappouris and Liasis will remember how their relatives got wiped out.
