Why does Turkey Hate Cyprus?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Wrong halil! ... It was not so "suddenly" ... but planned well in advance! .... Since at least 1956 when Kutchuck submitted the map proposing Taksim to divide Cyprus into 'North' and 'South'.

Why did Turkey plan and execute a division of Cyprus?

Why does Turkey threaten the very existence of Greek Cypriots?

So, why does Turkey hate Cyprus so much?

If I may:

Turkey was trying for a negotiated Taksim as a measure to counter Enosis. This way, in Turkeys mind she was also looking after the GCs rights to the island. But you already know that, so why do you ask? The negotiated Partition never took place and unfortunately we are in this mess. Mind you it was not a clever idea, but better than Enosis. A better deal should have been worked out at the Independence talks.

You are a moron. You think that after Cyprus was part of the Ottoman empire for 300 years it was so bad for Cyprus to be part of Greece? And you think that it was better to ethnically cleanse 200000 Cypriots from their homes than to allow Cyprus to be part of Greece which is what most Cypriots wanted?

Does Turkey have a history, or reputation, for negotiating lands away from the rightful owners? Then you are saying Turkey assumed the GCs were either naive or stupid if they would believe "negotiations" were uncharacteristically on offer, to take half the island by "thoughtful" Taksim, which Turkey was proposing merely in order to "look after the GCs' rights to the island".

That is excuse-making beyond the realms of credibility ....

even the russians hate the turks.

Patriot, Patriotic, Patriotism
How do you describe a Turk in 3 words
Patriot, Patriotic, Patriotism
All of those are foreign to the turks. When you think of turks you think of rapists, murderers and child molesters.
