Why does Turkey Hate Cyprus?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby kentish » Thu Mar 12, 2009 10:31 pm

you are one stupidly singleminded hateful person oracle.calm down and try to enjoy life.if everyone was like you the world would be terrible place

why would tc question the reason turkey are in cyprus when we all know that had it not been for them there would now be an absolute minimum number of tc left on the island

your line in red ? i'm sorry but what the hell do you mean.where is the danger in cyprus to turks

expansionist ,foot in europe riches in cyprus ? utter tosh ,nothing of the sort, how can any of this make sense on a tiny good for nothing island in the middle of nowhere.

colonisation is spelt with a z by the way

if you like i will just post the word HATE whenever i read one of your hatefilled posts

Colonisation is spelled with a "z" if you are American! I choose Standardised English.

As for the rest of your garbage ..... compost it!

You have not got a clue.

Turkey has all but destroyed Cyprus, on a pretext that the TCs were not safe ... yet it continues to send its people to colonise the island further?

And you do not see a contradiction in that?

Well how is it a "pretext" when the TC's in question are still around as the first hand witnesses, to tell you the fact that we indeed were not safe?

Are you the only genius around?

So they are crazy and you know it all Oracle?

Maybe everyone is lying?

actually my hate fueled friend it is spelt with a z,you can actually say spelt or spelled but i prefer the former whereas you prefer the latter.
this is where we beg to differ on spelling and lots of other things.you have your views and i have mine.who is to say what is correct.

another gem from your hate filled mind "turkey has all but destroyed cyprus" what an amazing statement.what can that possibly mean.lets ask greek and turkish cypriots if they feel the country they live in is destroyed.

as for turks settling in cyprus , so what.it is the descision of the northern cyprus government and nothing to do with southern cyprus.
when i visit my birthplace i find there is a small and growing number of turks settling there.no problem they are welcome ,no trouble and they work. this is what people do when they decide to live in another country.long may this continue.

So then, your "government" will have no trouble accepting the return of the 200,000 GC refugees it eliminated? ... since, as you say, "this is what people do".

Well there may be more than one why to inflect a word, but all follow rules ... and so in the end, my discordant "friend", you too will find there is only one way to spell LAW!

Nope ... you are thinking of annihilated (e.g. as in the Genocide of the Armenians).

Eliminated (verb) in context, is synonymous with removal.

But you have avoided answering the question .... If you are so understanding, that it's all so free and easy for people to just inhabit another country, then why is your country stopping the GCs from returning (with 43,000 armed Turkish troops). And have no doubt, the GCs wish to return, as it was a forceful and violent "evacuation" and not choice.

yes i prefer the word removal, eliminated is not very nice

as i have said if a foreign people are to inhabit another country its up to the rules and law of that country

forceful and violent? i suppose you could have all stayed and killed yourselves in a civil war,its amazing what a peacekeeping force can do

my guess is that when the last person that was removed in 1974 peacefully passes away there will still be no change in cyprus.if so the boys and girls that were born in the south may not have any interest in the north

march 13 1.14 am if you look, first line 3rd para

i am glad we all agree now .if the northern cyprus government allows people from southern cyprus to live in northern cyprus ,then fine, if they deem it is against the law, then we simply wave to each other on the borders of the two countries
