Mevlit Kandili or Veladet Kandili لیلة مواليد Mavlid (مولد), Mavlid al-Nabi (مولد النبي).

Mevlit or Mawlid al-Nabi is a celebration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad !Muhammad was born about A. D. 570 and died in A. D. 632.
The Mawlid al-Nabi was first observed around the thirteenth century and was preceded by a month of celebration. The actual day of Muhammad's birthday included a sermon, recitation of litanies, honoring of religious dignitaries, gift giving, and a feast. The festival spread throughout the Muslim world and is celebrated in many countries today.

Because of Mevlit (Mawlid al -Nabi ) tomorrow will be a public holiday in Northern Cyprus.

And is your "prophet" likely to be pleased with your behaviour? The taking of others' property and the violent racist ethnic cleansing of territories that belong to others?

I am sure if he was really good, he would be ashamed of some of his "followers" .....

Yes i am a muslim and i agree that the prophet would be disgraced at the behaviour of some of the muslims today and i believe if he was to see us now he wouldnt even recognise us as muslims due to some of our actions. ALTHOUGH THAT IS NOT THE RELIGIONS FAULT !!! Its the peoples fault
