Turkish Islamists Join the Club of Hypocrites in the Middle

Postby paliometoxo » Sun Mar 08, 2009 1:57 am

Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s tantrum during one of the sessions of the latest Davos forum, Switzerland, in reaction to remarks made by Shimon Peres, the Israeli President, raises lots of questions about the credibility of Islamists in Turkey.

Erdogan accused the Israelis of committing genocide in Gaza. But how about the Turkish genocide against the Armenians in 1915? The Turkish army slaughtered one and a half million Armenians. This barbaric act which is documented by neutral analysts is still denied by the majority of Turkish parties branding it as never existed.

Unlike the Holocaust, condemning the genocide on the Armenians in Turkey is punishable. People who acknowledge the occurrence of the genocide are publicly lambasted and persecuted. It is a taboo to discuss the Turkish genocide on the Armenians.
However, both the American Congress and the French Parliament re-condemned recently this genocide and urged the Turkish government to recognize this historical fact.

While Erdogan sheds crocodile tears on the “ordeal of Gazans” - which in reality is inflicted by Hamas and other radical Islamist radicals - the ten million Kurds, who mostly live in the south east of Turkey and constitute a full-fledged ethnic and cultural folks-community, are denied basic human rights, or any kind of autonomy, let alone independence.

The Kurds have always been stigmatized and persecuted by all successive Turkish governments.

Leyla Zana, a Kurdish woman and member of the Turkish Parliament was sentenced to 15-year in prison in 1994 for using the Kurdish language in parliament. The 1985 Law No. 2987 banns the use of written and spoken Kurdish all over Turkey.

During his last visit to Germany, Erdogan was asked why Turkey does not allow the Kurds to use their own language. Erdogan said, “Kurdish is not a language with no grammatical rules. It has a limited vocabulary which you can use in a simple small talk, but it is unfit for writing and educaion.”

Oguz Demiralp, the Turkish ambassador to the EU, defiantly told the European Parliament (EP) as it was debating the Kurdish issue in April 2008, “We warn the Europeans not to support the Kurds in their endeavor to establish their own state. The Kurds are an integral part of the Turkish society.” As he was interrupted by some members of the EP, Demiralp said, “You are supporting a bunch of terrorists, you are supporting the PKK, a mafia band. The majority of Kurds do not want to have independence.”

All this being said, in Israel, which according to Erdogan is committing “egregious atrocities in Palestine”, the Arabs, Palestinians and Druze, living in Israel enjoy the same political, religious, and cultural freedom the Israelis enjoy. Six Palestinians sit in the Israeli Knesset ( Parliament) and are allowed to say whatever they want. Raleb Majadele, a member of the Arab ethnic minority, the Druze, was a cabinet minister under Ehud Barack. Arab schools use Arabic and teach whatever they want, even things which are anti-Israel. They are allowed to teach, for example, the “nacba”, the calamity inflicted on Arabs by the Israelis. The poems of Mahmoud Darwish, a Palestinian poet, are also taught.

It seems that Islamist Turkey under Erdogan has discovered in Islamism a stepping stone to advance its Islamist agenda and re-establish the Ottoman Empire.

Turkey was among the 51 countries which have rushed to recognize Kosovo as an independent state, against the will of its arch enemy Serbia.

While the two million Muslim Turks living in Germany enjoy religious freedom, no churches and Christian centers are allowed to be established in Turkey.

Petrus Khosheqjan, a Catholic priest in Ankara is not even allowed to wear his church robe in public. He would be spat at and sometimes beaten. On a visit to Germany, he told me, “One day, as I was celebrating a holy mass, two Turks stormed the church and beat me severely because I was preaching loudly.”

Most recently, on Feb. 4, 2009, Necmettin Erbakan, the leader of Milli Görüs, an extremist Islamist movement, told the Turkish daily, Today’s Zaman, “The increasing number of Turks and Muslims in Germany (3,5 million) is first step toward establishing the Ottoman empire in the heart of Europe and introduce the Shari’a Law. What we could not implement at the gates of Vienna in the 14th century will soon become a fact of life. Our men and women are quite active in Europe. The chairman of the Green party in Germany, Cem Özdemir, is a Turk. Our mosques and centers are everywhere. Our men and women are active in politics, administration, and the mass media. Our Muslim sisters ware the headscarf and insist on it, despite opposition. The German government has recently approved of teaching Islam in its schools.”

Erbakan’s dream is not wishful thinking. It may in the long run come true. According to the latest figures released by the German Federal Bureau of Statistics, the birth rate among Turkish and Muslim families in Germany is about 3.78%, among Germans it is less than 1%. Hence, demographers estimate that the majority of people living in Germany around the end of the current century will be of Turkish descent, i.e. Muslim.

To make this dream come true, Erdogan urged his followers during his last visit to Germany in Feb. 2008 NOT to “dissolve” in the German Society. “You must adhere to your Turkishness and Islam.” He stressed.

According to several studies by the German Ministry of Education, more than 60% of Turkish and Muslim students in German schools fail to obtain a GCSE, or learn a profession, and end up jobless like most of their parents living on the generous German welfare system.

The majority of Turks and Arab Muslims live in shabby city districts like Neuköln in Berlin and “Klein Istanbul” in Dortmund. These districts are filled with violence and drug dealers. Young men roam the place and terrorize their enemies. Elke, an elderly German woman who lives on the edge of Neuköln, says, “I dare not leave my apartment at night. I risk being attacked by Turkish rowdies. Some of them have already attacked me and some of my neighbors.”

Jürgen, another German who lives near “Klein Istanbul”, says, “While German pupils sit at home after school to do their homework and around eight go to bed, you see lots of Turkish youth roaming the place chatting loudly and damaging public properties until deep in the night.”

According to a recent study by the German Car Club, ADAC, which has not been published for fear of provoking Islamic organizations in Germany and violent reaction, the majority of people who violate traffic rules are Turks. They drive recklessly and expose other traffic participants to danger.

In addition, many German communities complain that it is mostly Turks who do not respect cleanliness in their neighborhoods. They do not sort out their trash according to plastic, glass, etc. and more often than not they dump everything everywhere, but not where it belongs.

A mosque imam in Dortmund, Germany preaches to the Muslim youth that their misery is caused by the Germans. “They hate us and do not give jobs. Why? Because we are Muslims. To hell with them. One day we’ll take over, just wait!”

Muslim youth in “Klein Istanbul”, Neuköln, and other Muslim communities in Germany are perfect candidates to join radical Islamic organizations. They are filled with hatred and rejection of the German society. The so-called “Koffer-Bomber” who planned to bomb the railway station of Cologne hiding his bomb in a suitcase is a case in point.

Not only the above imam incites to hatred, violence, and rejection of the German society and its people, Muslim leaders, which Germany has quite many of them, like Ebraheem El Zayat, and Aiman Mazyek reject the German Constitution and intend to replace it with Shari’a, the Law of Allah.

Of course, such leaders and their ilk do not divulge their agenda where media are present. In front of the media they stress their respect to the German law and German constitution.

When I accuse them of being double-tongued and double-faced, they reply, “Why not? Our prophet, the Koran, and Hadeeth teach us to use every conceivable means to defeat the infidels.”

The German authorities and media are both intimidated and naïve. In fact, they do not know what is really going on in Turkish and Muslim communities next door. Security agents do not speak any Turkish or Arabic and hence do not understand those incendiary speeches in mosques and Muslim centers. Reports about the same are brushed off as a “non-sequitur”.

The German media discuss “Islamic banking” and both the Deutsche Bank and the Commerzbank advertise for their “Islamic accounts”. A German judge in Frankfurt, who chaired the case of a Moroccan woman being beaten by her Arab husband, included the Shari’a law in her verdict.

The German WDR 5 radio has recently discussed Islamic “polygamy” as a variety of matrimony in addition to monogamy.

Obviously, the Germans believe that this course of (in)action would help integrating the Turks and Muslims in Germany and eventually appease them.

But, one day, the Germans would realize that the above is not a “non-sequitur”, but a part of the German reality. Radical Muslims in Germany constitute a big time bomb.

International policies have never been dictated by humane principles. They are driven by national, economic, and geo-strategic interests.

During the Cold War, Turkey played a key role in East-West conflict. In order not to alienate Turkey, the West never accepted an independent Kurdistan, albeit all statehood ingredients were available.

After the Cold War, while the West demands independence for Tibet and recognizes Kosovo as an independent state, it still rejects independence for 20 million Kurds. The least that can be said about this policy is: double-standard.

In the 21st century, Turkey has discovered in Islamism a convenient leverage to advance its national and international agenda. The West needs Turkey to at least decimate the peril emanating from radical Islam which is spreading across the Middle East and the globe at large.

Actually, the number of ststes officially recognizing Kosovo as an independent country at this time is fifty-five (fifty-six if you count Republic of China/Taiwan). Other states (approx. another thirty according to Wikipedia) are currently leaning towards doing so.

We even go one step further, and discourage denials of the Holocaust. That shows the degree of reality-distortion wielded by Turkey to the Genocide they enacted.

Didn't Stalin murder all those people around him who knew of his menace, so that he can continue the myth that he was a saviour? Same policy by Turkey; they punish and kill those who reveal their atrocities.

Erdogan said, “Kurdish is not a language with no grammatical rules. It has a limited vocabulary which you can use in a simple small talk, but it is unfit for writing and educaion.”

Uneducated fascist executing linguistic genocide of the Kurdish language; another crime against Humanity.

“We warn the Europeans not to support the Kurds in their endeavor to establish their own state.

OK Europe, brace yourself, you have been warned by the Huns ... again!

Turkish expansionism is in progress, and the only way to reverse it, is for the EU to start by kicking out the Turks from Cyprus....

“The increasing number of Turks and Muslims in Germany (3,5 million) is first step toward establishing the Ottoman empire in the heart of Europe and introduce the Shari’a Law
.

Unfortunately the guilt-ridden Brits have allowed the start of this. The Islamists will be seeking their own territory in the UK, and soon.

Our prophet, the Koran, and Hadeeth teach us to use every conceivable means to defeat the infidels.”

When will they learn that truth, and the road to freedom, are not in the Koran  Poor sods ....

EU should first kick Greece out of EU. What Greece did to Macedonians, Albanians and Turks has no difference than what Turkey did/does to Kurds. The real hypocrites r in EU, Greece and the so-called RoC.
