Let's do a few historical comparisons:

America was "discovered" by Columbus in 1492, and Europeans etc., started arriving there since then.

The Otto-Turks invaded Cyprus in 1570. So they have been on Cyprus for less time, than any other groups have been in America.

That's right Turks ... the Europeans and other groups have been in America longer than the Turks have been on Cyprus, yet they are not considered NATIVE.

Only the people who were there before ..... count as NATIVE.

You would count as "of ASIAN origin" by the above classification and not as Native to Cyprus!

I suppose you think that EOKA got down on their knees and begged the T/Cs to join in !!!

It wasn't up to EOKA to force the TCs to join. They didn't force anyone to join, it was only for the bravest, most able, and most Cypriot! That's why they, despite opposition, succeeded ... quality not quantity!

If the TCs hadn't actively presented extra obstacles though, they would at least have been part of the majority of Cypriots who supported EOKA but were unable to join them.

Yes but it is the ONLY native Homeland of Greek Cypriots! ... you may have to think about that (pre-wine).

It is obvious from your post regarding EOKA , that you really dont know much about what went on way back in 1955-59.
EOKA not only did not ask the T/Cs to join in the struggle for ENOSIS , yes the struggle was for ENOSIS , but did not even extend a request to the G/C Communists , ie AKEL . The struggle was a noble struggle the ultimate goal was misjudged as history now has shown.
The T/Cs lived amongst us and we lived peacefully for hundreds of years.
The notion that they are NOT part of the Cypriot nation is absurd , and those that support such nonsense are fools. How on earth can someone whose ancestors going back some 440 years not be a native of this island !! How many generations make up 440 years , 10 , 15 perhaps or even more and yet you consider that these Cypriots can not refer to Cyprus as their homeland !!
My views on those Cypriots who consider their motherland to be either Turkey or Greece are well known on this forum.
All Cypriots are equally entitled to call this nation their homeland , those that chose a foreign nation and reject the Cypriot entity they are clearly not.
