There's a reason the UK driving test is difficult to pass!

THE UK TEST IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO PASS I THINK IM A BRILLIANT DRIVER AND IN THE UK THEY USE ANY EXCUSE TO PASS YOU ESPECIALLY IF YOUR A PAKISTANI, EVEN THOUGH I WAS BORN IN THE UK AND I DONT LOOK LIKE A PAKI

The UK driving test is of a very high standard, it consists of:

a) A Safety and Maintenance, 'Show me, Tell me' test, where you are asked to identify certain under-bonnet items on a car and then asked a question about them.

b) A Hazard Perception Test

c) A 50 multiple choice, Theory Test.

d) A Practical Driving Test (only after you have passed Tests 'b' and 'c')

The Pass rate is <43%

cyprus is full of crazy drivers though and we should have all of them tests to

in all my years of driving not had one major crash just a few minor scartches when parking but no big deal, im very carefull. and in england you can drive from the age of 17 full licence, in cyprus its 18

Tilmeez - Can't help it but the more you post the less genuine you appear (and I had my doubts the second this topic appeared).

You say you were born in the UK but your use of the language seems to derive from a stereotypical ideal - where in the UK are you from?

Ok Cypriots may not be the safest drivers in the world - However many drivers from abroad are using our roads everyday without any insurance or road tax. Half of the time they are drunk as a fart.

The other day I went to a christening where a friends car was crashed by some polish guy. His excuse was "sorry please don't call the Police I don't have insurance" Need I say that he did not have any money to pay for the damages.

I say that if you don't like our driving or have no insurance - Go back to where you come from.
