Pascal was one of the greatest passions of my life for many years… there’s hardly anything I didn’t write with it, in fact around 40 software packages!

Most people were introduced to it at college or uni as a teaching language to programming because it was easier to follow, but the Borland implementation of Pascal made it extremely flexible and powerful with direct support for Assembly language, inline machine language, and much more. In fact the only thing you couldn’t write in Pascal was device drivers, operating systems, and such very low level software.

I made 3-4 inventions that contributed to computer science using Pascal in the early 90s but I can’t tell you what they are because that would reveal my identity!

Now you got me reminiscing… :?

Well it shows how much I took in because I even spelled it wrong

I just remember writing lists of programmes where I had to let something be something and then it was supposed to loop round to do something else and all this was conveyed to a massive central computer called Tom! (not real name but similar. ... otherwise he would reveal my identity too  )

All (nearly) car windows here are tinted slightly; about 4 years ago MOT stations started refusing to issues certificates where heavy tinting was involved, insisting it be replaced.

However, many manufacturers now offer 'Privacy Glass' as an option, and as long as it is restricted to rear and back windows, it should not be a problem.

It is very popular with Celeb wannabees' :-)
