I am indeed. Been here for 4 and a half years now. First year was tough, but I promised myself a minimum of 2 years in Cyprus. First year to learn the culture and the way of life here, second year to try and adapt to the way of life, living as the locals. Seems to work for me. Loving every minute of it here!

I had a dowry house and at the time I was one of the few experienced (not much, but enough) software people on the island.

Mind you the pay was crap (CYP80 per month!), but then it was OK.

I know FORTRAN alright but not RPG... I guess that would've been for the Central bank or something.

Pascal My first software experience was Turbo Pascal in 1990!
