This is as far as I got before getting absolutely overwhelmed with the amount of idiocy.

Turkey IS a secular country, probably more secular than any EU member you will find, the "RoC" most probably being at the bottom of the list.

Ehh, i dont think so. Have you been reading whats been mentioning in the western press about Erdogan? Aint to good for his conservative Islamic party.

Did your church oppose to changing the history books and caused chaos or not ? Did they want to include people from church in the comitee that will reaarrange the history books... What a religion man has to do with ministiry of education.

Ministiry of education comitee :goverment People from churh in that comitee : nonsecular country...

300 odd years of Ottoman rule, meant had it not been for the church we would all have been called Mehmet and Halil over here. The church has played an important trole to the people here in the past and is slowly being downgraded.

The history book trouble is not entirely the church's fault. The govt has decided to over compensate in their usual left leaning zeal and forgot to have a small think about some of the ideals the people on this island have been living with and have died for so long.

A colonel from Turkish army personally called Şener Levent and talked on the phone. A colonel does not represent whole Turkish army. Moreover, doesn't a colonel have the right to personally call a journalist and speak abt whatever he wants? What's wrong with it?

As I said before Halil...you went one step further than Talat, you carry Turkey entirely blameless throughout Cypriot history for anything. You said so yourself. This position can only be found with the Grey Wolves.
