Be careful of what you read in impressive books and websites. Often bullshit passes as authoritative statement.
Huntingdon in the Clash of Civilisations wrote that Cyprus as part of the Orthodox East would not fit well in Europe because of language and tradition clashes.
Huntingdon of course never bothered to look up even an elementary reference book, otherwise he would have learned that two of the three official languages of Cyprus are English and Greek, which are official EU languages. He also never researched enough to realise that Cyprus law is based on English Common Law, in effect the same system used in the UK, Canada, USA, Australia and other Anglosaxon countries.
So beware of reading while suspending your critical faculties.
Nikitas, as far as I examined u by the contents of your posts u have really good knowledge and mostly out of known ordinary Greek line that is based upon superficial hearsays and national interests. However, in my humble opinion; u need to be much more factual and have the ability to get the correlations between the events in order to build a healthier and stronger argument for what u believe is true.
