That was what you chose fit for your people, you were not fighting Turkey but your own people. Because of your racist culture and objective.

Turks didn't start this you did!

What I support does not matter as it is unachievable with ideas like you around, so there is a big difference with what you want and what you would want.

It is the Turks who invaded our island multiple times with the aim to enslave and oppress us. There would be no suffering for anybody if the Turks had not invaded Cyprus in the first place, and the suffering would at least stop if the Turks recognized the right of the Cypriot people for freedom, democracy and self-determination.

All the wars and conflicts in Cyprus between Cypriots and Turks were started by the Turks with the aim to enslave Cypriots and then stop us from being free.

Actually history shows that you were already suffering pretty badly for many centuries when the Ottomans came.

The Ottomans gave you your first right to self-rule, your first right to practice your own religion not someone else's and your first right to own anything on the island.

Your facts are straight out rubbish.

 So if someone rapes your sister, and then I come and rape her too, will you be grateful to me if I used a condom and beat her up less than the previous rapist?

During the Ottoman rule the Cypriot people were oppressed. They had to pay double the taxes than the Muslims and our testimony was not even accepted in the courts. So don't give the nonsense that they brainwash you with in your schools about the "nice Ottomans".

When Ottomans came they took the island from the Venetians and not the so called Greek Nation, you never had rights here, we gave them to you so you do not get to take ours from us.

So at least we agree that we can unite with whomever we want whenever we want, and no we do not need to ask some ancient settler group that lives on the island, why should we?

You want to deny us from our lands and our rights, why should we have to put up with it? This island does not belong to you.

If you have the right to fight so do we, whats the problem?

Cyprus belongs to its native people not to any former empires. It is clear that you still dream of the times that the Turks would invade, kill and steal what others have created.

It is a pity that you continue doing the same things in the 20th and 21st century, thinking that we are still living in the Ottoman era.

So you continue to fight to take our island from us, and we will continue to fight to protect our island from the invading Turks. This is a story that started in 1571, and we will wait and see when it will finish.

As long as u r intended what u mentioned above; we too have the right to do the same; because we too r strogly believing that how much u think Cyprus belongs to u, as much it belongs to us.

We have not imposed anything on you, you are obviously free to do whatever you want, other than denying us our rights and our lands and what democratic rights we had in the past.

Do you see Turkey telling you what to do? I don't.

Mate, you exist in Cyprus for 438 years. the only time you didn't impose something on us was between 1878 and 1958, that is 80 out of the 438 years! And then you say you never imposed anything?

Turkey is not even allowing people to live in their own homes today!!

Stop the jokes please.

We didn't say Ottoman rule was perfect but was better than the other rulers of Cyprus. If u deny this tell me under which ruler u had better conditions.

You analogy is very inaccurate.

I never said that the Ottomans were nice. I was just pointing out the misconceptions that you base your argument on.

How the Ottomans worked is no secret, there are a billion books on them explaining how they worked and that's exactly what I am telling you, obviously you have not done your research very well.

You had your own courts for you to deal with your own problems in your own way.

Anyone under the Ottoman rule who was not Muslims were allowed to do so, not just you.

Problem is that you are trying to take much more than what belongs to you, by stealing it from us. I didn't say that your minority should leave from Cyprus. What I said is that you should stop bringing your foreign troops to keep Cyprus enslaved, and you should allow Cyprus to be free and democratic.

You said Turkey not me, and between those dates Turkey was just being declared, you cant even follow your own words.

You are free to come and live in your houses if you like, but don't mix that up with the real problem because that is just the RESULT of a problem which YOU willingly participated in creating.

Your understanding of democracy and freedom is not as straight forward as you make it sound like.

In this scenario they are ambiguous words and are just more weapons for you.

Who are you kidding?

How do u know we r trying to take much more than what belongs to us? U have land registry records. There r 2 arguments regarding the percentage of land belongs to each communities. Besides there r also private land registry records. We r trying to get what belongs to us.

It was GCs who first brought foreign troops into Cyprus to acquire whole island then we brought Turkish troops... Nevertheless u managed to acquire only 61% of our island and we managed to acquire 35% of our island.

My friend, the historical fact is that we were oppressed and we didn't want any Ottoman rule. This is why we revolted multiple times.

If you liked the Ottoman system and rule, good for you. We didn't and the fact is that you imposed your rule over us against our will.

So it is you who imposed yourselves on us. Not the other way around. We never asked from you to come to Cyprus and oppress us. So if you want to blame somebody that you are a minority in our island, then blame your ancestors. And if you don't like it then move back from where you came from.
