Aaahh ... you must have heard the Turks are leaving. :D

Yes when they are gone (shortly) and the 200,000 GCs can finally reclaim their properties back from those who currently hold them illegally, then normality will be restored, and you may safely buy without fear of throwing your money, and your morals, away..

Wasn,t aware the turkish were leaving, just found out out that a lot of russian investors are buying property in north cyprus ?,generally i believe that where the russians invest there's some knowlege behind it.On the moral issue i think what happened was a disgrace to humanity (with my limited knowlege of the situation),thats why i have joined this forum to help me form my own opinion on the matter and to see if investing in north cyprus would be a good idea.My sisters family lived in famagusta at the time with her cypriot father in law owning a restaurant there,i haven,t told her yet i am looking at property in that area yet !

Well, Russians are showing a lot of interest in buying properties in Limassol. Perhaps they know something we don't.

The other day I witnessed a Cypriot agent swearing black and blue that real estate prices in Nicosia increased by a whopping 4% this year alone and that he expects this to only flatten out.

I knew he was talking crap as soon as he mentione Nicosia... :? You would have to be an idiot to buy a property in Nicosia or occupied Cyprus....

The Japanese are doing what they could not do by force of arms. They have invaded the whole world markets.

You are right Tim. Something sinister is brewing. Watch out.

Hi Bafidis'

I hope it just stays with the 'investment'. What about 'American' spheres of influence vs Russian (populated areas + money).

As they say in Turkish,' Kabak kimin basinda patlayacak'?

rough Trans: on whose head will the pumpkin burst. (who will suffer/benefit?)
