Sky Boxes

Postby Laurel Theodosiou » Tue Mar 03, 2009 10:38 am

Hi there everyone,

Can anyone tell me if they have a bought a sky box out to cyprus from the uk, and if it works with or without a card.

It's because I'm thinking of bringing my sky box, or a freeview over.

Thanks

xxxx

Providing you have a suitable size dish, your skybox will work here.

and Freeview will also work but you will need a minimum of 3 meters diameter dish size (depending on your location could be 4 meters) to watch anything free..
This dish size applies to skybox also...

Yeah, but how many people have called you round and said " I brought a Freeview box from UK" and when you go there ,it IS a freeview not freesat and you have to tell them they wasted there money ?( although a freesat doesn't get sky 3 or Five etc)
