Hi all,,

Moving to sunny Cy next month, just wanted to ask any electricans out there already what sort off domestic power supplies are like out there, what supply do they use to hook up to the house..?

Welcome mate.

Dunno about outside the house but once inside all the outlets are standard 240v GB type.

any ideas on the earthing systems to the houses..? over here it's mainly TN-C-S systems with PME supplies,, was wondering how they do it over there,,, bit of a techy question i know but hoping someone might know..?

also any ideas on the internal wiring, are they ring or radial..?

Sorry mate, externally I've no idea. Internally I would have thought ring to sockets, unless the developer is cutting corners.

It basically involes a copper rod about 1-2m long shoved into the ground at a place designated on the elec drawings of the plan, and then a small concrete housing with metal lid is used to cover it. Supply is 220v or 415 for 3-phase.
