Turkish Cypriots and the settlers puzzle

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Sotos wrote:Here are the facts. Cyprus was invaded by Barbarian Turks 2 times. In 1570 and in 1974. After each invasion the Turks kill 1000s of Cypriots. Then they steal our lands and bring Turkish Settlers and they give to them the lands they steal from us. Then they name these Turkish Settlers as Turkish "Cypriots". The real Cypriots revolt against the foreign invaders and fight for their freedom. The Turks use force and kill Cypriots and try to stop Cyprus from being free. The Turks are the problem of Cyprus. The problem was created when they invaded our island and the problem will be solved when Cyprus will be free from these invaders.

These are not facts.

This is just Sotos having another one of his chronic diarrhea attacks

All are facts. Turks invade Cyprus, then they kill 1000s of Cypriots, then they steal our lands, then they bring Turks from Anatolia and give to them the lands they stole from us, then they call them Turkish "Cypriots". 1570 and 1974 are the same.

Not that I would ever find you worthy enough to crap on Sotos, simply for the cheap and revolting comments you had made towards me and to my ethnic origins in general over the years on this forum.

But purely for the sake of your stupid ignorant argument, when the Ottomans came they didn't have to fight you, who the hell are you to fight the Ottomans?

They fought the Venetians as they were your masters back then

If you had given casualties that would probably be because you were used as human shields by the Venetians

So basically you had no lands for us to steal, we gave you your first lands.

We took them off the Venetians, kapish?

As the saying goes, you cant steal something that is already stolen ;)

Cyprus belongs to the Cypriot people, not to any foreign ruler.

Venetians and Turks are equally foreign to Cyprus.

Sotos argument is very correct. The Turks have never created any significant cities or any significant civilization. They only invaded and stole what others created. They did the same to Cyprus.

What is unfortunately is that they continued to do the same in the 20th century. What is even more unfortunate is that even in the 21 century and the Turks still talk about "owning" Cyprus, and they didn't realize that the era of colonialism is over as that the Cypriot have every right for their freedom and self-determination.

What the hell are you talking about?

Before the Ottomans, let alone actually making anything, you couldn't even practice your own religion.

Ottomans never had to steal anything in the way you mean it, they had their Millet system, where idiots like you were allowed to be free and rule themselves for the first time, have your own courts and religion in return for taxes, that's how the Ottomans managed to rule all places they went.

You clearly lack a great deal of historical facts regarding our past.

Not that you should know, since its not your history but the Ottomans have played a big role in your recent history so if you really want to be an asshole about it then at least come with substantial arguments and not this pathetic repetitive system you got going there Piratis.

When the Barbarian Mongoloid Turks came to Cyprus they killed 20.000 Cypriots. Is that before you counted those 60.000 or after?

I thought Ottomans warred against Venetians not with poor Orthodox serfs that Ottomans have already had sympathy towards because of inter-marriage affairs.
