yes i am saying that
i mean when you use a connection from 1-10mbit you dont really lose any b/w with the wireless but when you have very fast connection then yes you lose speed from the wireless..

but using A 2mbit like me it doesent make a difference if you use wireless or not you still dl at full 2mbit its only when you have fast 20mbit+ connections it makes a difference.

Bollocks! Go right back to Electronics 01 and read up on the difference between the speed of electrons traveling on the surface of a copper wire (conductor) as opposed to two antennas communicating through the air.

have you ever had a 20mbit connection using wireless and using it with ethernet? then a 2mbit using wireless and ethernet? with the 20mbit you lose lots of speed using wireless but with the 2mbit u dont really lose anything. im oon a wireless 2mbit and i lose no speed downloading or browsing its the same as if i have it plugged in the ethernet..

Just because you have a high speed and may not be feeling a noticeable difference doesn’t mean it’s not there. Do you have the right instrument to measure the rate of data packets being exchanged between the two methods so you can test at home?

i agree with you wireless does lose alot of the connection but you dont really notice it with slower connections such as 2mbit.. i mean 260kb i download at and its the same with the wire..

but when i had a faster 20mbit connection my wireless would download at 10mbit not 20.. only with the wire it would download at full 20mbit.. i agree with what your saying but as i said with slower connection i dont think it makes a noticeable difference

Look, if you want to get technical (because I'm a system's engineer  )all networks ever do is EXCHANGE DATA PACKETS under a common protocol such as TCP/IP and this is how professionals measure network speeds…

Paliometoho,

Here’s how to conduct a simple experiment at home to observe the difference in speed. You’ll need two laptops of equal hardware strength, one wired and one not on the same modem, and then open the same 20-30Mb PDF (which essentially simulates a continuous stream of data packets) and you’ll find that the wired laptop will be done a lot sooner than the wireless. Simple!

im saying i agree with you :)

its just on my slow connection i dont notice anything :)) and on the faster connection i had i noticed a large difference in wireless and ethernet port.

i dont really know that much im sure you know way more then i do.

Do the test I suggested above and you'll see even on your slow connection...
