Not a new topic but with new problem. A young lady with German Nationality got married to a man of non-eu country currently in Cyprus. Initially man came for studies but could not continue. Then applied for asylum and kept on malingering. Now he has only civil registration from Ministry of Interior. One year has passed. Lawyers are just getting money and not telling the Lady how her husband can get legal stay permit of Cyprus. Up till now no residence permit given to husband though wife is German National and she wants to take her husband to Germany. Can any one tell what to do and where to go to solve this problem.

Sometimes one should be serious also and should help the genuine guidance seekers. It is not a stupid mess. Unless boy gets visa/stay permit of Cyprus he can not get German Visa. Girl can go back to Germany but how about her husband?

Nobody goes to another country for a holiday and gets married (registered) there with a non-EU foreigner of yet another country! The whole thing is dumb and she is liable for imprisonment if they can prove that it's a marriage of convenience (and I’ll bet it is) like so many imprisoned before her. One of these days she’ll hear a ding-dong at her front door and it’ll be her last…
