There are many great (but pricey compared to Paphos) restaurants spread out all over the place, with the main Fish ones along Latchi harbour ... although the individual ones between the two places are superb also.

Some won't be open so early and since I've only been to two (out of loads) that I would never go back to again, you should be fine experimenting yourself.

Bon appétit ... :D

Hi John
I would definately recommend the restaurant at the Souli Hotel heading out of Latchi towards the Akamas. In the summer the outdoor restaurant is wonderful right over the sea. It won't be quite so idylic inside but the food is good. If you like fish they've usually got a fresh catch but the grills and Cyprus dishes are all good.

Take a look at my website www.paphos-eating.com for an extensive 'guide' to eating out across the Paphos region, over 1000 real-world real-people reviews, should be able to give some idea at least.

I'd recommend the Prodromi Taverna, about half a mile from Polis. Great food, very cheap. Also no menu - just ask what they've got on tonight. Friday is suckling pig night I think.

The last night we were there we had a superb main meal with a bottle of house wine for about 15 euros.

I agree with Baggieboy ... the Prodromhi Tavern is great especially during live music night when you can easily win a free bottle of wine for setting light to a dancer's rolled up newspaper tail :D

Latchi is generally really lively, and Polis is not far behind ... but the take home message is you have to have above average spending resources to venture anywhere near my village territory ...

Cheapskates: ... stick to the rest of the Island .....

Polis and Latchi are for the elite! 8)
