His parents are Cypriot.
Elena Paparizou ~ Born and brought up in Gothenburg, Sweden, to Greek parents, Elena shot to fame with fellow bouzouki-playing Swedish-Greek friend Nikos Panayiotidis in their band, Antique, which came 3rd for Greece in Eurovision Song Contest 2001. Elena has since split from the band while it was on a high, and is persuing her singing dream alone. She won Eurovision 2005, bringing the show to Athens in 2006.

Prince Philip ~ His Royal Highness is the son of Greek-Russian Prince Andrew (Andreas) of Greece and Danish mother Her Serene Highness Princess Victoria Alice Elizabeth Julia Marie of Battenberg After attack by Turkey, Prince Andrew lost his throne and faced death until the British secured him and his family a safe place in France. He turned to drink and gambling, while his wife (now known as Princess Andrew) had a nervous breakdown. Their son, Prince Philip, lived in Denmark for awhile before safely being sent to England in an orange box, where he went on to marry Queen Elizabeth II. He naturalizes to a British citizen and officially signed away all connections to the Greek and Danish thrones.
