Which Little Talent are you Most Proud of?

Postby Oracle » Sun Feb 22, 2009 10:25 pm

From the age of seven, my mother used to set me the task of checking all the dried lentils or fasolia or loubidia etc., for little stones, or other unwanted stowaways, before soaking them for cooking hours later!

Consequently, I realise now, I have a great talent for spotting "contaminants" in most anything ... :D

What little talent have you perfected, which you wish to share? 8)

I have a talent which I am proud of which is very similar to yours. I am also very good at finding contaminants in logic, I am one of the best programme de-buggers about. Strange, but true!

This thread is great for self-boosting our egos. Oh well haha.

erm, my talent is a biological one, my mirror neurons fire alot as a result i have a high level of hard wired empathy, do the degree i feel what is going on in someone else (mirror neurons!).

im proud of it

The defining moment for me was when I discovered that I had become conscious of my intrinsic ethnicity that had for years been subjected by school , church and society at large to a sustained and determined attack , forced to
disavow my natural ID and aspire to a related one. That was the moment some forty years ago when I found my Cypriot ID , I had thought I lost it , but it was in old wallet I forgot I had !
ps. A GSH is also a skill I developed while dealing with a few destructive clowns on this forum !

My impulsivness - ok so occasionally you get it wrong, but more often than not you get it right. Life is wonderful if you take the chance and go for it.
