In Cyprus there are no school holidays in May. Only 1st of May. Students will get 2 weeks off for Easter in April.

Cheers everyone, looks like I have found a Cypriot school happy to take my daughter from September. Linopetra in Limassol - just a short walk from the flat.

Now to other matters (divert the thread why don't ya')

Any hints on jobs? Got the Cyprus Weekly and Cyprus Mail but nothing promising. Any jobs for IT folk, hardware mainly, acreditted to the major manufacturers.

The biggest problem with finding jobs in the IT industry in Cyprus nowadays is the surplus of well educated (BSc and MSc minimum, some with PhDs) Cypriots. When I first came here 22 (HEX) years ago it was a lot easier and you didn't necessarily need to speak Greek, but now it is different.

Good opportunities do crop up now and then, but they are few and far between.
