Kickapu you are being a little too dramatic. You should try writing a book or two. I am sure they will be part of the agreement, and either they will be able to by the land off the owner or sell the building to the owner. You are making a big issue of this when it is a very small part of the problem.

If they are lucky, they will avoid jail time and walk away, but their money will be long gone. I only want projection for those TC's who were forced by Denktash to accept GC land as an "exchange" for theirs in the south, since these are the innocent TC's and not for those who indulged in Haram Money in dealing in stolen GC properties, because it is these people by and large who did not want peace for the last 30+ years, or even now, because they got used to that Haram Money.!

There are also those who refused to give up their land for GC land in the north and stuck it out until an agreement.
Let us not forget them.

Thanks for saying that, and you are absolutely right, which my mother is one of them. She could have very easily taken stolen GC land, but she did not. But I also respect other TC's who were forced to take stolen GC land as an "exchange" for theirs in the south they left behind, because Denktash in his one of many corrupted ways, convinced the TC's that the Cyprus Problem was over back in 1974, and that the north was now all TC land and that the north was also their new country. This was music to all the NeoPartitionist, the Fascist and all the GC haters ears. All they had to do was to wait couple of years for the north to become recognised, and the dream of the promise land would be finally realised.! Yes indeed, Denktash had his own movie script all written up, and the likes of VP, Zan and all the other NeoPartitionist on this forum would like to see the finished version of Denktash's warped dream.!

Can I join too. It is one thing I am proud of. I am constantly offered GC land and have refused. This in spite of the hatred some GCs are capable of exhibiting.

Actually, all morally decent TC's are automatically members of the "Turkish Cypriot Moral Club" and are not required to enlist. They know who they are, and we know here on the forum, which one's are not. As I've said before, decent TC's who were forced by Denktash's land "exchange" policy for a place to live and are not necessarily immoral. Only the ones who made Haram Money by dealing in stolen GC properties.!

Only if Denktash chose to punish them for not following his Fascistic orders. There were 4 times more empty GC properties in the north than the TC's left behind in the south. After he got the TC's deeds for the properties they owned in the south as an "exchange" for the GC one's, he filled the rest with the settlers from Turkey, or as in the case of our friend DT, his property in the north were occupied by his TC neighbours who were not refugees, but chose to take over his property, because it was better than theirs. According to our friend "TC", his aunt was not given a GC property despite having had one in the south who is having a hard time to pay for her rent. Some 3,000 TC's refugees did not get any GC properties to the best of my knowledge. So, corruption was very ripe with Denktash as to who got GC property and who did not. According to a forum member, "skipper", Denktash gave himself 30,000 Dönüms of stolen GC land when he had very little in the south, so with him, it was not even an illegal "exchange", but plain robbery. Again, I'm not accusing these TC refugees of any wrong doing by accepting a roof over their heads. Only the ones who bought and sold stolen GC properties.!

That's right, I have forgotten, that all TC's who commit a crime, are not prosecuted in the UK.!

Not only that but I have no intention of switching to the north ever. My land came to me from a long line of YFreds and It will be passed down to a long line of YFreds.
