What's wrong with the Greek Education System?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Not that there is anything wrong with Mongolians (present day ones are great), or e.g. French etc ... but just as the English would not want to fragment the UK and gift a piece to some Norman (French) remnants, just because for 350 years the French ruled England, and their descendants suddenly want independent recognition, for no apparent reason, other than their ancestors invaded Britain some one thousand years ago ....

Why should we be forced to do something the UK would not do under semi-comparable circumstances?

No one would accuse the Brits of racism against the French, for not recognizing, let's say Kent, as wholly French!

Gratz Oracle! It's the first time that you've built the correct analogy to put forward your opinions. The answer lays within your opinions because all other existed and existing circumstances of the world were/are just partly or semi-compareable to the circumstances of Cyprus. That's what makes the Cyprus Problem still unique to it's own circumstances. :D

The semi-comparable element is the fact that the Norman-French have been assimilated in Britain for nearly 1000 years, whereas you Mongolian invaders have only been here for a few hundred years  ... and even then, the French, do not have any reason to demand a piece of the UK ... so why should you demand a piece of Cyprus, having come from further afield and having been around for less time?

Another semi-comparable factor, is that the French are closer to the Brits in migration routes and religion, and ... even language, than the Greeks are to the invading Mongolian Turks!

Basically, the hint is that you do not belong in Cyprus as a separate entity! ....

If, in 2 years time; Cyprus problem is not solved either on the basis of "political equality of 2 communities" or "agreed partition", I'll have to move to a Mongolian village or Kazakistan village. I can't wait anymore than 1-2 years to initiate my long awaited large family project.

Well I am glad you are finally getting the message. That there are no facts to support racism, despite the fact that is precisely what your government (Turkey) practices and you condone by living in stolen lands ethnically cleansed from what she considers to be an inferior race of GCs.

By looking at migratory routes for our historical ancestors (all of them!) one is far from being a racist. Even by establishing borders delineating old territories that have come to be through man's cultural differences, does not make one a racist.

But you shah, who lives in a racially/ethnically deliberately and violently cleansed territory, are a racist!

Yeah the only problem is that Anatolia was also NEVER Greek and always a location for MANY different civilizations, us being one of them.

On the other hand you purposefully using our shared ancestry roots with the Mongolians as a derogatory term, doesn't make you a racist of course  only makes you sound like an illiterate fool.

Everyone travels, everyone moves and everyone fights wars.

The only difference is that you personally my dear Oracle, seem to be awfully in denial and disconnected with reality more than ever, regarding the past of your own culture and the ones around you.

That always seems to be the case with people who show extremist tendencies in any sort way, lack of understanding or not being in tune with their surroundings.

On the other hand, I was born here so according to you I had no choice in "becoming a racist", so what is your excuse?

Good family ties with the Führer himself?

The "derogatory" feelings are in your own sick psyche, because you actually believe you are racially superior ....

I don't blame you, I blame your government for making you believe you are so special by violently cleansing other "races" from their lands and gifting them to her people. then continuing to violently up-keep those lands by shooting the original, rightful inhabitants when they stray back.

Yes the Mongolians might feel ashamed to be associated with Turks, not the other way around! ... but I do not hold the present day Mongolians responsible or in any way associated with present day Turks, and apologise to them that they are dragged into this unfortunate link when they probably hoped they had seen the last of you.

The author of the above drivel claims to have an academic background! The same person has posted an article here which purports to support the argument that Turks are Mongols, yet if you bother to read the article you will see that it makes reference to similarities between Turkish and Mongolian languages which it states belong to different language families.

What about Norman French which I also mentioned? What about Turkish Cypriots? ... What is your point?

I was distinguishing between present day Mongolians, that are not a party to the occupation of Cyprus, and those that now form Turkey, who very much are party to the occupation!

BTW... Have you found the reference to linguistic families in yesterday's post of mine yet, Tim?

Not at all, I could not possibly EVER believe that there is such a thing as a "superior race" as we are all part of the one and only HUMAN RACE, and no different from each other.

We all fight for survival and hope to do good things for OUR RACE, generally working from relatives, friends, fellow citizens and outwards towards fellow religions and nations that share your own cause which might in return increase the survival chances of your own relatives, friends, citizens and so forth.

This is only natural and what drives evolution.

But it is bad politics mixed by the mentality you portray that make our paths cross violently and oppress others from doing what everyone wants to do. Just live, which has worse consequences.

You on the other hand, as much as you might or might not accept this, CHOOSE to separate people as opposing "races" even if we are fellow citizens of the same country and use the term Mongolian as derogatory in every given opportunity (which as a matter of fact is nothing but a sly and bitchy way of attacking, very sad) to show that some of the people on this island do not belong here.

This is no different than saying "the blacks dont belong in America or the Pakis in the UK" and it is pure racism, which is probably a crime anywhere else but here, and it should be!
