What's wrong with the Greek Education System?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I can’t believe what I am reading. People studying biology to degree level but not agree with Darwin?

I have never come across any GO cleric who opposes Evolution. It fits in very well with their teaching of the connectedness of Humans with the rest of the Earthly inhabitants ... how similar we are to mud!

But, more interestingly, as I have asked you before, and you ignored, please explain what you mean by this: "Evolution takes place despite natural selection, which in your case, quite accidentally", and then maybe we may find out why most Teachers of Biology, are not capable of teaching Evolution ....

Well if they want to hold on to everything they have achieved through these crappy teachings of a creator then they have to find a way to agree with certain scientific facts that just cannot be denied.

The religious powers to be have clearly noticed that they have lost the war a long time a go, they are just trying to prolong their collapse and make the most of it while ignorance is still dominant around the globe

But Oracle, a church supporter? I'm shocked!

Didn't know they let the evil into the holy house of god

Oracle, you surprise me. Read your mentor! There you will find all the answers. For this particular query I suggest "the blind watchmaker".

I have read The Blind Watchmaker ... and your statement needs clarifying, especially the bit about "accidents" ... so quit quibbling and explain, "teacher"!

Edit:

Actually Bananiot, forum differences aside ... I really want to get to the bottom of your apparent confusion, to see if I can explain it better myself.

I suspect from what you've said that your think Evolution has an end purpose and there is some inherent design which is not due to "accidents" i.e. mutations ... so fire away an explanation for this statement you brandish and I will ponder.

Because at the moment, seems to me, you are the one who seems to have a Church-approved view of Evolution (i.e. that there is a Creator).

Don't talk rubbish oracle, most fools know that evolution has no end purpose. Evolution did not "mean" to create man, this is elementary staff. I said that evolution happens despite natural selection which may favour certain fascist elements to appear temporarily and, my apologies, this despite our forum (ideological) differences.

Well I didn't take you for a fool, but one who obfuscates to leave room to wriggle out from the uncomfortable positions your archaic, unnatural views put you in. Fine there is always room to leap into pastures new ... but now methinks you do not understand the "selfish gene" unless you have evolved from mere Saint Bananiot, supporting what you believe are inferior beings, to Allah Bananiot dictating which elements are fit to survive ... ...

So are you suggesting that fascists like you have a different kind of dna? Is Hitler your relative by any chance? You both support imperialism and invasions of foreign countries. Hitler also thought it was a good excuse to invade Czechoslovakia in order to "protect" the German minority there, and you seem to have the same views in the case of the Turkish invasion against Cyprus. And of course lets not forget that just like Hitler you also think that freedom, democracy and human rights can be compromised.

What kind of stupid remark is that?
Were the Czech Germans in any danger when Hitler invaded?
Which planet are you from?
The German invasion was to create the Greater Germany by uniting all so called germanic lands, more akin to your idea of Hellenism.
You and the rest of your hellenic lunatics are not that far from hitlers ideas.
