Neither of those you mention have ever indicated that the T/Cs did not suffer during the conflict years . What they do say , and I stand corrected , is that crimes were committed from both sides and none the worst than those that followed the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
Empathy is a lesson we all need to practice. The T/Cs suffered , the G/Cs suffered , lets put it behind us now and look to the future.
The overwhelming majority of indigenous T/Cs wish nothing more than to be equal citizens within the Cypriot nation , with their democratic and human rights protected by the EU directives and the law of the land.

The overwhelming majority of indigenous T/Cs wish nothing more than to be equal citizens within the Cypriot nation , with their democratic and human rights protected by the EU directives and the law of the land.

This part, purely sounds like TPap's long awaited aspiration. Nevertheless it is a well known fact that overwhelming majority of Turkish Cypriots r allergenic to TPap's and his sccessor's policy of osmosis. Let's say majority of TCs on this forum accepted this policy, neither of the TC political parties nor overwhelming majority of TCs would accept such an osmosis policy. Miltiades, do u sppose u have any chance to spread the osmosis policy through overwhelming majority of TCs?

There's just not enough life time for you Ottomans to apologize for all the horrendous crimes you've committed but you can start by saying “sorry” to the people you’re meant to coexist with for three centuries of crimes against them…

How about the crimes you are commiting today? How about the crimes you committed in 1974? How about the crimes you started to commit since 1958 and you continued in the 60s?

Even if we exclude the 3+ centuries of Ottoman oppression, which only started in 1571 but continued until 1878, the Turks/TCs have still committed a lot more crimes against us, than we committed against you. So how can you demand an apology without you be willing to give an apology for the far more crimes you committed against us?
