yes maybe to you its an excuse but why is turkey even trying to blackmale eu to join saying forget cyprus we are a great nation?lol sure shows they dont care about joining and the oil pipelines using this to get eu to accept turkey..

What makes you think Turkish people are not happy?

They are as happy as any other country considering the fact that unemployment wise they are just behind Spain and not far from Greece.

If Turkey did get into the EU they wouldn't have to smuggle anyone anymore because they will be able to legally walk right in.

The only reason we have less casualties than you is because we were backed up by Turkey and not the looser poofs Greece, that's why :)

Never the less, your intentions towards your fellow Cypriots was no less violent than of the Turks towards you.

im not saying that turkish people are unhappy, im sure they are, my point was they are trying everything to have two states in cyprus and join europe.

and from the "trnc" when they trying tof ill south with illigals and make money from it.

exactly they wouldent need to because they would be able to just work in the eu no need to come flood cyprus as you put it.

well you say your backed up by turkey but its turkey that started the war in the first place, they start a war then suddenly come to the "rescue"

Turkey eager to boost relations with African countries: President Gul

Turkey was willing to boost political and economic relations with Africa, Turkish President Abdullah Gul said on Saturday.

Speaking at a joint news conference with Kenya's Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Gul said he was pleased to be the first Turkish president visiting Kenya.

"Turkey considers Kenya a key country in the region. We want to improve economic and political relations and fulfill our responsibilities against Africa," Gul said.

Gul said Turkey was elected as a non-permanent member of the U.N. Security Council with the support of African countries, and noted that, "we will be the voice of Africa in the Council."

President Gul said Kenya has become a country to invest in thanks to the economic development it has recorded and the legal arrangements it has made.

Gul said Turkish businessmen had beneficial talks on construction, energy, information technology and the parties focused on cooperation opportunities in tourism.

Commenting on economic relations, Gul said several agreements were signed between Turkey and Kenya, noting the agreements were waiting for approval.

Kenyan Prime Minister Odinga said the business forum would have an important contribution for improvement of relations.

Odinga said there were investment opportunities in Kenya in areas of construction, iron manufacturing, electricity, geothermal, dam construction, medicine and chemistry, and noted that Kenya was willing to make use of Turkey's experience in tourism.

Turkey didn't come in on their own initiative alone, they had international permission because -as opposed to the convenient ignorance that is popular around this forum- the crimes against humanity in Cyprus were real.

What you really think that fat idiot has the brains to "sneak back in" because he wants to magically resurrect the Ottoman Empire?

He is just wasting tax payers money on a trip to Africa, probably because his stupid uneducated bitch of a wife decided she needs to see the world so that she has something interesting to say on the dinner table.

That's not true, first of all the real crimes started with the coup and arrival of Sampson who was also killing your people.

Secondly, the TC community had been living under oppression and terrible conditions for many years before the Turks came.

Do you really believe that the international community would have given Turkey permission to invade if the reasons were not substantial?

No, Turkey was doing everything according to the book, because the crimes in Cyprus were real and Turkeys intervention was legal and approved.

It all went downhill when they declared the TRNC on their own initiative.

THATS why we are not recognized, not the prior.
