Where do you think South Cyprus belongs being 70 km SOUTH of Turkey?

Cyprus is not in Asia Minor.

Russia and Ukraine are some Kilometers north of Turkey. Greece and Bulgaria are 0 Kilometers west of Turkey. So what?

The borders of Europe are not defined by straight lines.

If Anatolia is Asia, so is South Cyprus. As simple as that.

Its the sheer excitement of holding an EU passport that has got them to forget their basic geography

Come now Runaway, you know very well that there is Geography and Hellenic Geography, now I see that there is Biology and Hellenic Biology.
I have leaned so much since joining this forum. I was going to say thank god, but no I will thank Tim Burners-Lee for it.

People, it’s a waste of time arguing about which country is in “Europe” or “Asia”, as continents are man-made imaginary borders that can be shifted to wherever the current powers want.

That “Europe” is a union of Christian countries is an old story, and Turkey has as much chance joining the EU as England joining the Arab League!

I hold no ones land.

We fought to stay alive and are dealing with the consequences which is fine by me.

You fought to take over the island and so are you dealing with the consequences. Get over it!

On the other hand, you have totally missed the point.

Entering the EU does not equal to having reached a certain level of quality in life style, human rights or EU mentality etc.

Because if it did neither Bulgaria nor the "ROC" would have made it.

It is just a bullshit excuse the Christians are using to join forces to fuck everyone around them which is why its no problem that Turkey is not in there and hopefully never will be.

Do you also realize that if Turkey did get in the EU, they will have so many reasons to flood Cyprus so hard that in 50 years you wont only be speaking Turkish but the island will probably sink all together

Well there you go! Unless you want to become Atlantis that's another good reason why Cyprus must never allow Turkey into the EU.
