Legal problems with N. Cyprus property

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Temper, temper...How do you know what I bought?

Don't listen to some of our bitter friends from accross the border. I am sure that most of the UK citizens bought property given fairly to Turkish Cypriots for exchange for land from the south. They gave up waiting for our politicians to come round to the negotiating table. They had every right to sell what they were given.

Everyone in the north should have nothing to worry after the agreement.
Hang on to what you have.

Really? Why don't you tell us all about this one-sided "exchange" that took place...

...tell that to my family, murdered, displaced, some disappeared, and still that was not enough revenge for the acts of others, "Greeks" and "Turks"; we were not offered anything, and what we wait for is simple: what is ours to be returned.

...but what do i know, i come from a "mixed" village.

We are bitter because the homes of 40,000 does not equal 200,000. You had so much surplus land that you could "sell" it to British thieves and import thousands of mainland Turks. I suggest you brush up on you English vocabulary and look up the word exchange.

You guys are spreading fear into people like there is no tomorrow. While somebody is down in there luck, you congregate and try and kick him to death digitally.
Do not worry yourself about my vocabulary.

Just think about how much help you have had from the UN and the rest of the world since 74 and how much you have clobbered the TCs economically.

You have legally "stolen" TC land and sold the produce in open market like a whore, while you opposed every move for the TCs to trade fairly but there was nothing wrong with that. Even Larnaca Airport is part built on TC land.

So grow up understand what you have caused and imposed on the innocent Cypriots. Wait for the negotiations to end and then we can discuss the pros and cons of it all. We all make choices and face the consequences as and when we need to.

If anything, it’s only since 2006 that there may be consequences, but I am also certain that their predicament will also be included in the agreement to be fair to them and the original owners.

It will all be considered. Do not worry Talat will make sure of that.
