There is nothing anybody can do about it. You have to find a way of getting on within those parameters, no matter which society you are talking about.
Getting back to Cyprus problem, whatever the agreement they come up with it has to guaranty the TC physical security.

Like what kind of guarantee are you looking for, can you give an example? I'll help you out, are you looking for guarantees like TC's are only allowed to bear arms in the north and the GC's have no rights to bear arms? I can't see what your asking for thats different to any other minority in their country abroad. Give an example so I can understand.

No much simpler than that.
1. When a GC kills a TC, normal justice should apply as if he killed a GC. It should make no difference.
2. When a TC appears in court, the Judge should not be refering to a defendant as The Turk (when he was the one who was attacked). GC establishment is racist. What happend to the poor African/Cypriot girl and the attackers? What did the police do?

I would like no Army, on either side.

Don't start me on you education system

Oracle:
Erdogan is too stupid to have thought ahead to the consequences of his outburst ... that is all.

He is not a diplomat, politically astute and even worse ... he is not bright enough to work out logical outcomes.

He is a "lucky" loose cannon amidst some desperate Islamists that want to be heard ... for all the wrong reasons.

Politics of the past ... bury him!

I personally get a kick when I read about his football mentality in politics. He does Cyprus a hell of a favor when he acts irrational on any platform as an Ottoman politician.

Not if you were an American football coach. He'd throw me to the Turks for that many fumbles.
