Not hard to guess clever boy. They are Christians like you and your church wanted to get rid of the Muslims!

So it is not about race, it is about religion now already?

Guess who were the first to divide the population into Christians and Muslims. I will give you a tip: The Christians had to pay double the taxes, testimony of Christians was not accepted in courts, and in general the Christians were treated as second category people.

Christians were not killed. They were free to exercise their religion. I wish Makarios was as open-minded as well. But wait what do you expect from a church man ruling a country???

Nice piece of work from an American Greek Senator and an evil confession:By the middle of the nineteenth century, enosis, the idea of uniting all Greek lands with the newly independent Greek mainland, was firmly rooted among educated Greek Cypriots.

This should be dedicated to Miltiades who believes there is no such thing as GCs or TCs but just Cypriots. Who are you fooling grandpa?

Why go so far back? We rightfully sought enosis in the 50's as well.

We now have an independent EU member state. You on the other hand....

Yes, Christians were allowed to exercise their religion but also:
Christians were indeed killed, by the 10s of thousands.
Christians paid double the taxes.
Christian testimony was not even accepted in courts.

You call this "open minded"? If you like this system how about we apply on you the system you applied on us? You will be free to practice your religion, you will pay double the taxes, and your testimony will not be accepted in courts. Whenever you try to complain we will kill you. So, how do you like this "open minded" Ottoman System now?

You specifically You , not the T/Cs but you are foreigner , tour motherland is not Cyprus , what f..ng chance do we ever have of living in peace with each other as Cypriots when Plonker foreigners such as you keep interfering.
