Are TCs more Turks or Cypriots

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

well what political equality do you want? give us a scenario where you think 'political equality' would benefit you? Are you saying that the representatives of 18% of the nation should have 50% say on the running of the island?

It's a shame there isnt as much care for political equality and human rights for minorities in Turkey.

My original subject has not been addressed at all, throughout this thread, a normal situation with most of the threads of this forum. Let's have another coffee-shop discussion. No problem, as long as someone makes me a coffee with no kaimak!

There is so much love and agreement among the two sides (as separate from each other, that is), only if could export some of it to the other side of the green line, Cyprus would become Plato's utopia.

Who has "more say", where?
Questions:

How much say do the GCs have in the running of the RoC, at any given point. Are you happy with your current "powers"?

How do the GCs express/apply their "say" and how effective is it?

I also ask the same question to the TCs, in their present situation. What do the TCs want to see change, in their citizen’s powers, if anything, in a hypothetically united Cyprus?

Where is there more respect of the majority's opinion right now, in the north or in the south?

Which "hemisphere" of the great Cyprus, treats their minorities (political minorities) worse? How?

How are the "powers" of the G&TCs going to be affected in a united Cyprus? Are the 20+ political parties going to consolidate and end up into two ethnically segregated parties (Ala 'meriken)?
