I chose this Cyprus map for the background of the main page because it shows the dual demarcation lines and dead zone very clearly, which has come to epitomize the Cyprus problem itself.
Cypriots are very used to seeing it so it may have lost some of its value in their eyes, but it would give a foreigner a good synopsis of the dispute from a geographic perspective.
I’m interested in seeing an example of your suggested mission statement if you can in a pm or email…
