After almost having our fingers amputated let alone burnt by a Builder in Larnaca and an Architect/Developer in Nicosia we are now once again looking for firstly an architect that specializes in wooden framed buildings but also a builder - but not one that just wants to have a go because there is no other work. We would ideally like recommendations and in additon to hear from anybody that has already been on this rollercoater!! with good results, we are due over to Larnaca in April and would like to be able to view some builds and ideally meet up with an architect to get things moving.

Are you wanting to know about Kit houses or just wooden framed ?
I know of a couple of Canadian kit houses that were built just outside Limassol a couple of years ago.

Reza Rahmanian is an RIBA and ETEK architect in Limassol area 99176084 If you look on the RIBA website in the UK. Do a search on country = Cyprus and you'll get a list of all the RIBA chartered members practicing in Cyprus. At least you'll have peace of mind that RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) has some integrity and can go from there.

Please pm me urgently. We have had a timber frame built. I would like to warn you of certain things as we are now heavily involved in legal proceedings against our supposed qualified team etc etc.

House needs thousands spent on it to bring it to spec.

Hi! I am new to this forum, from Limassol and need the name of a reliable timber frame builder out of your experience. After about 5 months I am left with a disastrous wood frame, ready to fall down with first eartquake and very mad workmanship with hundreds of errors, so proceeded in court but need to finish my house. Plodge or anyone else, please let me know a reliable company name as suffered enough with the previous builder. Thank you!
