no idea i have not tried, i just put the drive into the ps3 and installed from a usb stick the firmware i downloaded from sony and its working, i havent tried to put it into the lap top with the firmware of ps3... but you make a good point i should try that

i have both uk and us network on my ps3! thats how i have all demos themes and other stuff! also u can purchase games online!

there is a playstation network here i play online alot... it works fine evenw ith cytanet connection :O

i put the hard drive of my lap top and now my playstation 3 has 130GB lots of space to install games

i know you can download saved games and themes i downloaded lots, but not games

I live in cyprus too! I m talking about playstation store not network... sorry. you can do it by creating a new user and selecting U.K or U.S.A when it asks for country

ahh i got my ps3 when i was in england for holiday and setup my username there.. i dont remember putting uk or cyprus..

i need some new games.. whats some good games? resident eveil 5 i am told is good
