To read some of the threads that one sees on this forum, one cannot help but wonder if he is right.

Here is one good example. The event reported in this article could have involved any nationality under the sun. Instead some people chose to focus on the nationality of those involved and start spouting out the usual "Turks this, Turks that, Turks the other" nonsense. Get some therapy!

The story was e-mailed to me by an English friend (and not because I am GC as it went to a dozen other English mates) .... because it was a funny story ....

This story is quite funny

The fact it involved TCs is the reason why I posted it, since TCs are undeniably of topical interest here

This is a tragick story not a blody commedy. You people are sick. You hate Tcs to much and dont admit

Why is it a tragic story you nincompoop?

Because the wife (Osmankan) .... "was spared jail by Judge Jeremy Roberts QC, who handed her a suspended ten-month sentence and told her to attend a 20-hour 'skills for life' course."

... the judge obviously thought the woman was a complete nincompoop too .... Related to you by any chance?

Tim, what is the therapy for "attention seeking"? What is the cause?

So you do not think that I have a valid point?

Of course you have a valid point. I'm of the opinion that the hysterical racist Turcophobia spouted by some posters on this site is "amplified" in order to bring attention to themselves. Why do they do this, what is the cure?

What I find sadly pathetic about your view Tim, is that if someone completely unaware of the CyProb, was told by a TC: "Greek Cypriots are brought up from an early age to hate us.", that uninformed person may have just thought: "Oh those nasty GCs, they have absolutely no reason to hate the TCs so they must be plainly racists."

But you, who has at least some awareness of the racist ethnic cleansing we endure every day, on our divided and illegally occupied Island (which we have not given up on), should have questioned not only the motives of this TC for saying such a thing ... but may even have come to the rightful conclusion that perhaps that TC was instead brought up to believe they are justified in their actions without any need to feel guilty, for stealing and holding onto what belongs to others.

And as a man of the world, such as you portray, I would have thought that if it is only attention you think GCs are after, when they make noise about this occupation, and the unjustness they feel for this crime ... that you had enough nous to realise there may be reason for not keeping quiet. That if they personally hate the Turks, they were not taught this emotion, but experienced enough to bring about this natural feeling.

That if it was merely "attention" we sought, that you give us enough credence to know, we have many ways of achieving that, and do not need to thrash out this painful situation ... only for "attention".

That if therapy is what you recommend, then I suggest the same to you, for it is a lobotomy you wish upon us, if you think we can ever forget this crime and remain silent.

You are a real disappointment .... if only, because once again, you show a lack of humour about this "tragic" topical tale.

No you utter nincompoop ..... it's not every wife that pays £800 ( ) to have an unhappy marriage ended by a "friend" .... no matter the reasons for experiencing the human condition! But then to ask the husband for an extra £50 to nullify the contract on his head  ... If he was abusive ... she would have run a mile!

Perhaps what you mean to say, is you sympathise with this woman's actions because you know something about TC husbands? ... which justifies what to an outsider seems like moronic behaviour ... as clearly, so did the judge to offer her "life skills" .

Sorry. I thought you were accusing me of "attention seeking" when I thought I was calmly making a fairly rational point. Now I understand.

So if a TC is worth £800 to bump off ... how much to bump off a proper Turk ... £80 or £8 :?

... we really don't need very much money to get rid of them all.

Ask the Kurds for a quote, they might even do it for nothing if we send them the guns.
