That will not happen. The bloody Turks will only realise by the end of this year when all EU entry aspirations will be taken away from them that the 2 state option is not a solution. Status Quo for the coming 20 years I believe
I believe and hope that you are wrong.
The only thing I still have is hope. Looking at the arrogant Turkish attitude and the undemocratic demands I fear for the worst.
No Cypriots will allways have hope. Its in our Jeans you know.
One thing is for sure, you do not have any hope in hell in achieving your objectives, but the Cypriots will free their island as they have always done. Turks are only transient, but Cypriots own Cyprus for eternity. It is nature's law.
You are being delusional again. Nature’s law also includes the idea of fittest survive and extinction. How do these fit into your theory?
I certainly do and this is how Turks don't stand a chance.
Say bye bye to Cyprus because your deadlines approach.
what happens when comes the deadline and eu says to turkey no eu. then they have no insentive to want to solve cy problem and stay, then who will be there to remove them from eu land? maybe it will just makes things worse
Palio, that question will not arrise, becasue the negotiation will end long before Turkey needs to go into EU.
Negotiations will end by the end of this year, and Turkey will not be considerd for EU for another 10 years.
your right, but the news you read , leaders say maybe solution this year or expected solution in x amount of months/years but it never happens, hopefully this year will be the one that counts

I shiver with fear. Have we not had quite a few of these deadlines. Have they not allways been postponed. I have lived in EU for a very long time. They are guttless when it comes to problems. When will you realise that it has no effect on the negotiations. Turkey allready has a favourable trading agreement.
Wake up, wake up wake up, too much blood is getting to your head.
But the RoC is not gutless when it comes to vetoing your arse. Your ultimatum was delivered.
Your former Agricultural Minister swine, who is seeking office in the "trnc" speaks volumes about your society in the occupied territories, so I am afraid it is you that needs to Wake Up, bloody murderous sheep fuckers.
Let him without sin cast the first stone.
BTW the vote you have to win is in the south, where your philosophy is in the minority
76% is no minority so WAKE UP!
You are very sellective as to which figures you use. The reality in the ground is that if AKEL promotes this peace plan, so will DISY, then you will find that your vote in the next election will be below 35 %
Don't bet on it?
Last time Dysi endorsed the Annan Plan only about a quarter of their supporters voted along party lines. The party almost fell apart over the issue.
When it comes to Democratic Equality, people will not give a damn about what Christofias or Anastasiades will say. In fact the way these 2 are carrying on about the Annan Plan, they could very well be lynched at noon.
Your ausiness is coming out, you know the way they were throwing those animal aboriginals over the cliff.
Your democratic principles hopefully are not contagious.
Why don't you come here and ask them. Every Aboriginal I came across always called me their Brother. My olive skin has a lot to do with this as well as my heritage.
The Aboriginals are doing quite well now. They are receiving Billions in royalties and are EQUAL Aussies in every respect.
You would be so lucky to have our democracy..but you have no chance and I am actually quite offended that a bloody Turkish:shock: imbecile is making judgment against Australia. If the judgment came from a Cypriot, I would not be so upset.

Palio, don't listen too much to the partitionist.
I believe that the negotiations are slow but moving. We have never been here, where two leaders actually want to solve the Cyprus problem. We now have it. I believe that they have in them the guts to fight against the partitiopnist on both sides and bring us the resulting agreement to vote on. I know it will happen, but I hope that the agreement is endorsed by Disy and Akel. If they do not endorse it, same will happen again as last time.

Yfred,
You sound very optimistic but do not forget 1 thing. You talk about 2 leaders where 1 of the leaders has got nothing to negotiate. It's Turkey that calls the shots here......not Talat.
