This has probably been asked time and time again but it's quicker to just ask

Could someone tell me about Broadband over in CY please?

Some kind of cost would be great and is there a limit on downloads?

I am looking to stream video and use a softphone for VOIP. In the UK you pay £10 per month, thats it!

your right it has many times but http://www.cyprusbroadband.net/ that website has all cyprus isps and prices and connections available.. hope this helps

nop but im only on 2mbit... you can get 10mbit cable @ 99 euro a month again not capped, im with cytanet and pay 20 euro a month for the 2mbit with 440kbit upload they have 4mbit also no caps.

99 Euro a month...wow!!! Bet they don;t have many home users on that one!

it used to be 200 cyprus pounds for that connection, for home users, cable connection 1mbit upload but even if it was available to me i wouldent get it. i read some reviews on thewebsite from home users who are happy with the 10meg connection

for that price in england you could have 50mbit.. also in london you can pay £1 and your 34mbit gets upgraded to 100mbit for 30 minutes lol

VOIP would be ok with 1meg What is more important for VOIP is for your connection to be stable and to have low latency
