Bayarak,

The whole world cares about the Cyprus situation, and especially the EU!

I am sure that many people are very concerned at your aviation safety violations and would realize that by traveling in "trnc" airspace, they are gambling with their lives on your Midnight Express flights.

It must hurt you so much that everything you do is in contravention to International Law. You are the Pirates of the Mediterranean.

Paphitis,

The vast majority of the world do not give a shit about Cyprus, just as Halil said.

We hope that some of the politicians in the EU are interested, but I am not to sure of that either.

:? :?

CBBB,

I beg to differ. The UN has issued numerous resolutions against Turkey and the EU will forbid Turkey's accession unless there is a solution.

I also know the feelings of the Australian Government, which is only the second Parliament in the world, behind Greece, that has actually ratified a bill condemning the occupation.

There are many things happening and Christofias recently issued Turkey with an ultimatum that it would never realize its EU dream if they do not withdraw.

The Oil and Gas issue in our EEZ is also a positive, because there is nothing else that the West desires more than Oil and Gas. American companies actually have Cypriot EEZ plots and so the plot thickens...

We are talking about ordinary people in the streets .No one cares about politics or policies of the others .

They are only interesting to have a good time and relaxed . They have only few weeks for rest and they wanna get much of it ...... sun , food and good memories for them ..... this is life ..... who cares ......

Bayarak,

The 200,000 refugees whom you ethnically cleansed certainly do care and so do all other Cypriots.

Even in far away Australia, I have not met anyone who does not know a thing or 2 about Cyprus. In fact, most Australians know Cyprus quite well.

The ADF is quite familiar with the SBAs and Australian service personnel are serving on the Green Line as we speak.

No one can enjoy the sun knowing that your crimes against humanity continue without punishment.

"Ausralian service personnel"? Aren''t just they civilian poilce?

Australian Federal Police.

There are weekly RAAF flights to Akrotiri supporting the deployment.

These personnel also attend all Cypriot Community Brotherhoods every ANZAC day. They are very Cyprus friendly and some of them actually witnessed the barbaric murder of Solomos and Isaac

So they are coppers not forces personnel.

I have met quite a few of them over the years in the various drinking holes I have frequented and will admit they have been good blokes.

They are coppers but let's face it the term service personnel was used loosely because they are not your normal run of the mill cops.

They are Australian Federal Police and are fairly high up in the food chain. They are also used in many border security operations in Australia and work very closely with ASIO, ASIC, Surveillance Australia, Coastwatch, Customs, and ADF. They are not the type of cops that would pull you over and issue you with a ticket. They are involved in many covert operations in Australia and have top level security clearances. They have taken over many responsibilities that use to be the exclusive domain of the ADF.

Next time you speak to them, ask them what they do.
