Sounds very familiar….……This is hardly surprising, since Cyprus elections are run on a quota system that allots seats by community. Greeks complain that Turks are given 30% the seats even though they represent less than 20% of the population. Turks reply that the way the country's is as a whole one electoral districts dilutes their voice. Since most “Turks” seats happen to fall in majority-Greek areas, it is in effect Greeks who choose the Turk's MPs……
This is what we would be fighting over if, as GCs wishes, TCs decide to turn back to current day RoC (not to 1960 constitution).
