What a load of garbage! What part of Kyrenia castle has been used as a garbage disposal? Thats bullshit!

The RoC did refuse to allow archaeologists work in the north. Fair enough it wasn't "just like that" or for no reason...but when it comes to things like historical buildings and so forth, exceptions should be made imo.

Thats all I have to say about that! :D

Dislodged stones in your photo were put down few years ago to cover up the ugly old concrete.(clearly visible in the photo)
The photo shows east face of the castle open to incoming waves so it's not a surprise stones did not last..
What pisses me off is the graffiti on the walls.

The castle is there alright but where are the locals who looked after it for centuries, those whose ancestors had built it...

but Iceman is right about writings on the walls . pollute the area and left all your mess araund .....

I wonder what the Sumer Aygın and his team is doing in Kyrenia .Don't tell me it is not under the control of the municipality . U know things are complicated some times . Like Dikmen waste area .
