I would not only have proclaimed Enosis but...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

It's a revelation for the Cyprus problem. Particularly the number of greek people one Priest buried in one cemetery rather conflicting with the total Official dead during the coup for the whole of Cyprus.

Piratis please see the last interview with the Greek Ambassador, not that it will change you. I am convinced that you are not a human being but a computer program. But that belongs to another thread.

Enjoy.

Now do you agree that a truth commision is vital to solve the Cyprus problem?

Can someone translate this please. I do not mean word for word, although it would be appreciated. Just the gist of what is being said.

You need to stay of the drugs because your links do not support what you insinuate...Image

You jump to conclusion too quickly. We all make mistakes in life.
Try the third one particulary 6 minutes onwards. Then you will realise how stupid and closed minded you and the rest of your hellenic friends have been on this forum.

Unlike you I accept that of all the missing people, some are buried in RoT, some are buried in TRNC, but I have no doubt in my mind that many are also buried in RoC.

The question is how many and where.

Truth commission. Only then will you get the answers we all need to move on and live normal lives.

I think the tablets are in your fridge. Have a good look for them. You need them more than I do.

You only need to listen to Samson to understand that he was a low IQ idiot. This is why he was chosen by the Junta to be made "president" after they got rid of Makarios. The position was proposed to others as well, but nobody accepted. Only Samson did.

Samson was the puppet of the Junta, and the junta was supported by the CIA. The main aim of the coup was to bring down Makarios, who he was considered as the "Red Monk" of the "Cuba of the Mediterranean" by the CIA.

Makarios was already at the UN in the US from the 19th of July, declaring the illegality of the coup. And in Cyprus the resistance fighters were fighting against the coup.

Another fact is that no TC was killed during the coup. Samson was convicted for treason and was later send to jail, so even if he said what Insan claims, he did so only to harm Cyprus. The fact is that there is a Turkish minority in Greece as well, and they were not "annihilated" during the many years that junta ruled Greece. On the contrary it is the Greek minorities in Turkey which were annihilated, like the cases of Imbros and Tenedos islands for example.

Unfortunately, the TC minority instead of helping the resistance to defeat the coupists, they found this as a good chance to put into action their plans they had since the 50s, and along with Turkey started to annihilate all Greek Cypriots from 1/3rd of their own island. Here we are talking about a true annihilation that did in fact take place.

The coup was not an excuse for what Turkey did. Many coups happened in Turkey as well, and nobody invaded Turkey to protect the Greek or Kurdish minorities there. This is why the UN issued resolutions demanding the respect of the sovereignty of Republic of Cyprus and the withdrawal of all foreign troops.

The occupation of Cyprus by Turkey during the last 35 years is illegal, criminal and inexcusable.

That clip seems to be accurate.

As the priest said, he had buried about 110 victims of the coup and this statistic is in line with the official death toll of the Greek Coup. However this does not take into account Coupist casualties.

GR! did post the official casualty lists, including names and other details for every Coup victim.

YFront, thanks for informing us what we already know. :D

The casualties that the priest is talking about is for both the coup and the invasion.

That is absolutely correct!

The priest did mention that he also buried over 400 GC dead from the Turkish Invasion. And that is just one priest!
