Well, according to the press reports you posted, the ‘idiot’ was in fact the old lady being treated, for it was she who raised the matter. The process, from then on, was perfectly right and proper according to the complaints procedure, without prejudice.
‘It wouldn't have happened if she was a Muslim.’
Pure prejudicial speculation.
‘……they only pressed the matter because she was Christian and if she was Muslim it would have been: "Oh how sweet and kind and thoughtful".’
…more prejudicial speculation.
‘To hell with the backward third world immigrants , if they dont like it piss off back to their shit holes .’
Prejudice based on stereotyping of the most dangerous and divisive kind.
If this report is, as posted, evidence of Britain having ‘gone mad’ and being ‘the joke of Europe’ as ‘stark raving lunatics’ then I’m glad I’m not sane, like you…
By the way, a point not stressed in your comments - after investigation the nurse was reinstated.
The fact that time and money continues to have to be spent on such procedures is a direct result of the kind of prejudice flaunted in this thread.
(FWIW my personal view is that belief in a god, and the subsequent religions, is probably the most divisive force on the planet - but I respect the right of individuals to have their personal faiths, as long as they do not seek to impose them, uninvited, on others, or indeed claim some sort of right of reverence from others – or kill others in their mission to impose their delusions on others, as we have witnessed from the crusades to 9/11)
Hello and goodbye mate . If you care to read my opening lines you will notice that I did state the nurse had been reinstated.
The old lady that put in a complaint ought to have been spoken to by the Plonkers who initiated action and told in clear terms that what the nurse asked her was by no means either racist , improper or in any way rude.
Old people , including this lady , can be very stupid at times and this lady was indeed bloody stupid.
My wife has been fighting cancer for more than 7 years , if she complained every time a nurse or a doctor said to her they will pray for her the entire nursing staff at both of the Royal Marsdens would be dismissed.
It is pure nonsense of the highest order to take offence when someone offers a prayer for you. The complete and utter idiots who proceeded with investigating such an act ought to be severely reprimanded .
Britain has gone bloody mad , this case is proof of it.
I will pray that you use your common sense my dear.
