REUTERS NEWS REPORT:
15:52 05Feb2009 EU parliament urges all bloc to recognise Kosovo

BRUSSELS, Feb 5 (Reuters) - European Union lawmakers on Thursday urged five EU members that have so far failed to recognise Kosovo to fall in line with other members of the bloc.
Kosovo, which broke from Serbia last February, has been recognised by 22 of the 27 member countries.
Cyprus, Greece, Slovakia, Spain and Romania have refused to recognise Kosovo as independent, either because they support Serbia or because they believe this would spark trouble in sensitive provinces of their own.
"The resolution recommends that the EU Member States which have not recognised the independence of Kosovo should do so," the European Parliament said in a statement.
In a non-binding resolution, the parliament also urged the executive European Commission and member states to help Kosovo's government to overcome serious staff shortages and improve the situation of the Roma and other minorities there.
The resolution was passed in a 424-133 vote with 24 abstentions.

Kosovo does not happen to have 40 thousand occupying troops , more than a quarter of a million settlers with the minority population as Kosovans .
No one has ever described Kosovo as "occupied " so where do you see the similarities mate , or do you think that the EU is a bunch of idiots. The "TRNC" has as much chance of being recognised as I have of becoming the King of England !!

GET OFF the CyProb.

Parrot.
Expand your vocabulary dear boy.

I’m always happy to counter intelligent contributors but have zero respect for uneducated goofballs like your self, “H”, Insan, loverboy, and similar 2-cent fools who clearly have NO PLACE posting in the CyProb section of the forum.

You won’t find me meddling in fields telling peasants how to grow vegetables, just as I don’t expect peasants to make their way in here and waste intellectual people’s time with junk posts… so to each his own.

I’m an elitist and have no regrets… now get out the both of you!

You embryonic "ape" GR! U feel like the world turns around ur embryonic brain. Wasn't u telling me in one thread that whom Ottomans killed during the conquest of Cyprus were Venetian soldiers? Then in another thread wasn't u claimed that whom Ottomans killed during the conquest of Cyprus were Cypriots in contradiction of urself with an attempt to prove everyone how ur embryonic brain works on "how it fits" type of mentality....
