A business partnership proposal for Miltiades…

Miltiades, I understand you’ve got a healthy business in London selling industrial “kitchen ware” (excuse the ignorance if I got the terminology wrong) so I’ve decided to make you the following proposal…

I would like 50% partnership of your business, which would mean of course that any further business decisions would require my 50% approval, and 50% of the annual income would do nicely thank you, and of course if we ever decide to split up in the future, 50% of the assets would belong to me.

Now, all that remains is for you to inform what I would need to do to acquire this 50% partnership. Thanks.

Well you will need at least 18% of the share capital of the company !!
Then you can have your 50% !!

Right! Err... as much as I'd like to forward that lenient 18% share capital in return for a 50-50 partnership, I'm currently in a bit of a difficult spot for reasons beyond my control called an “insolvency” as my accountant explained it… so, is there any chance of making an exception? Say… because I’ve got a pretty face for instance?
