TCs, put urselves into GCs place and imagine TCs r the numerical majority of Cyprus e.g 20% GC / 80% TC and tell me whether u would accept GC community as a "politically equal" state partner or not.

Please be honest

This is not a simple question insan because you have not stated at what point we start this.....The parameters have not been set..If you are asking about this day and all the history behind it then YES I would accept them as partners.....There is no other option.....That is the way it is!!!!!!!

Zan, the truth is that you will never accept democracy and equality among citizens, and that we will never accept to gift to your 18% minority the 50% of power and the 30% of land.

The conclusion is that an agreed solution is impossible. For as long as you can you will force what you want (partition) but unfortunately for you this is illegal so you will suffer the consequences of it, and then when the balance of power will change we will take our island back either you agree or not.

Discussing anything else beyond this is a waste of time.

So yes, talking and negotiating with you in general is a total waste of time.

But as an exercise for you (since you made an exercise for us) I want you to answer this question:

If you reject the greediness as being the main reason that determines your demands, then explain to me why the 18% of TCs demand a state for themselves made out of the 29%+ of Cyprus.

A honest answer from you in my opinion would be: "Because we believe that we can blackmail you and force you to accept it. We won 37% with a war, so you should be happy for giving you a bit back. Why settle for less if we can get more?".

If your answer is different from the above, then give it to me. Your task in this exercise is to give an answer that will be logical and that will not be a joke.

There r 2 different arguments regarding the amount of land ownership of 2 communities based on documents. If u check "knowledge is power..." thread u can examine borth arguments respectively in one post. I'm sure %29 land claim of TC side is based on those documents that they have. When Ottomans ceded Cyprus to Brits TCs were abt %35 of the total population. In no way i could think to blackmailing GC community to make u accept what TC leadership claims. It's not an issue of we won it by warring or something...

Even if we assume that what you say is true, how is the Muslim (there were no Turkish Cypriots in Cyprus back then, only Muslims) population in Cyprus during Ottoman rule related?

If we are going to play this game then your population a bit earlier was 0%, so you don't even have the right to be on the island.

Then GET STUFFED dear Piratis....Democracy is much more than just you riding over my rights by force mate....We have two people that will work towards a better Cyprus....What is so undemocratic about that...The system didn't work before because it was not democracy you were after but ENOSIS. If we work together for Cyrus then there is no reason why it should not work. NONE WHAT SO EVER. So stop this crap about this thing you dont even believe in..This excuse to take over the island....You want to work together then we can..You want to wait for your fictitious change of power then go ahead....You will not live to see it...Thats for sure.

We never had democracy in Cyprus while we were together. You never allowed it.

If what you are asking is what is fair, then give it also to the Greek minority in Turkey. Why don't you do that? The democratic principles are the same everywhere, you can't change them as they suit you.

The fact is that you are collaborating with Turkey in order to have gains on our expense.

This is CYPRUS Piratis...If you want to go into giving others on other islands or mainlands land and other rights then you had better put your own motherland in order first....

The fact still remains that you are collaborating with Greece mate and you and the world knows it. You are just making yourselves look silly by saying anything different. You have had and still do, the opportunity to empower the TC people but then hat would not allow you to blame Turkey for everything and fool the world. We had a democracy...It is called power sharing. The same privileges that you enjoy in the EU...As numbers go the 20% we are is massive compared to your million as opposed to Germanys 100,000,000.....So stop your double standards and accept your status as well as ours....Nothing less will see any change.

With Greece we collaborate in the same way we collaborate with any other country. Greece is not trying to force you to give up your lands in Cyprus. So stop saying nonsense.

EU is a union of separate countries. We all know that your aim is to ethnically cleanse us from our own land, create a separate country on the land stolen from us, and then have some "mini EU" between the free part of Cyprus and the part you stole.

Give the same to the Greek minority in Turkey and then come to ask for such thing from us. Until then our answer to your blackmail is NO and it will remain that way.
