Fred , surely you must fully appreciate that the entire world community sees Cyprus as one island part of which is under the occupation of Turkey. Thousands of T/Cs share the views of " Africa" that Cyprus is one and that the foreign occupiers are not welcome on our soil.
Cyprus is NOT GREEK CYPRUS any more than it is TURKIS CYPRUS. This island has a history stretching back more than 10 thousand years , many invaders came and departed and this island was NEVER called either Greek Island or Turkish Island. Those Cypriots , G/Cs or T/Cs who have as their motherlands the foreign countries of Greece and Turkey ought to consider a permanent move to these countries. Just a very simple question to you Insan. Prior to 1571 and the arrival of the Ottomans in Cyprus , what did the people of Cyprus considered themselves to be , Martians , Egyptians or maybe Zombies.

This discussion is nonsense. Genetically speaking you will probably find nobody of pure origin anywhere except in some remote village in Africa. Nobody can claim to be the original or real Cypriot and be taken seriously so GR gets my plonker of the day accolade. To deny the Cypriotness of a person on race is incredibly racist.
