I, for sure, know that Cytanet is chaging their ADSL framework and migrating customer from old to new one. Plan is to move all ADSL customer by October (As told by Cyta representatives)

For almost 2 months I was getting 4Kb-40Kb download on my 4Mb connection. After 36 mails and around 12 calls I got 20 EUR credit and transfer to new framework. It worked fine for me and getting decent speed now.

Regd PrimeTel , they recently hooked to "Hawk" network (Reliance Globalcom) that allowed them higher bandwidth and offering 5Mbps now. Not sure if all customer are upgraded free of charge.

I left Primetel, speed capping policies, bad support and unreliable network... went to Cablenet, i dont care if they have analogue TV (alltho u can get digital package)... i have 50 channels on every TV in my house (4) and i can watch different channel on each TV. As for the speed, i had 10mbit package and downgraded to 5 since 10mbit was too much. No speed capping (yet) even tho they had a hug influx of new subscribers.

Wait until you have a problem to decide how good they are, because their support sucks!

CBBB, i had Cablenet for 14 months now... few downtimes but so far the best ISP, maybe because it has to do something with Wavespeed? I had wavespeed for 2 years on "ichoice platform".

Ray, I use Cablenet at home and at work. I only ever call for support if I have a problem I can't solve myself, and I can solve most of them. At home it has not been too bad, but with my business service I have had all sorts of problems with them, especially when they have carried out their own maintenance, and sometimes it has taken days for them to sort it out! Like f-ing up my static IP address for days! The other problem is their support hours, if I get in the office at 07:00 to find I have no internet or telephones, I have to wait at least an hour to even tell them I have a problem. As a business we pay well above normal rates, so you would expect a better support service, but it appears to be worse.
