Harry Nicolaides an Ausralian Greek Cypriot , was jailed for three years in Bangkok for "inslulting" the Thai Royal family in a novel he wrote which sold 7 copies !!! 500 were printed.

Is there a Thai embassy in Cyprus , perhaps a few polite , and I emphasize the word polite here ought to be sent .

This guy is very much a family man , 41 years old with no criminal record yet he languishes in a filthy jail for a few innocent comments aimed at the Royal family's "amorous entanglements " .
If such a law existed in the UK ALL journalists , TV presenters and authors would be in prison now.
